1. TENTS
All tents are to be pitched on lettered sites away from the central area. Sites are lettered anti-clockwise A-I commencing next to the chapel. A map of the site is inside the double green doors to the Long Barn
2. WATER,GAS & ELECTRICITY
These services are metered to the site. Please take care not to waste them.
3. TOILETS
Permanent flush toilets are provided and no latrines are to be erected or pits dug. Please leave
them clean and tidy for the next users
4. FIRES
Fires may only be lit on the permanent altar fire on the sites and at the camp fire circle. Altar
fires must be cleared at the end of camp and left empty for the next users
5. WOOD
NO GROWING TIMBER ON OR OFF THE SITE MAY BE CUT.
Saws are recommended for use on site and only under proper supervision.
Knives & axes are only to be used by trained users or for training purposes. When not in use, axes must be under the control of the camp leader and knives properly stored/sheathed. Axes must not be taken outside of the site.
6. REVEILLE & LIGHTS OUT
Reveille must not be earlier than 0630hrs and lights out NOT later than 2230hrs. Please
consider our neighbours at all times. Late night music parties will result in expulsion from the
camp site.
IN ORDER TO RESPECT THE LOCAL RESIDENTS, PLEASE DO NOT
ENTER/EXIT VIA THE SILVER GATE (ONCE LOCKED) AFTER 2130 AND
BEFORE 0700 EXCEPT IN AN EMERGENCY
7. DOGS
NO dogs are allowed on the site
14. OUT OF BOUNDS
The Round Barn, Fellowship room, Garage and Workshop are all OUT OF BOUNDS
15. SITE MANAGER
In the absence of the Site Manager or one of his team on site, the Scouter in charge of the
camp will be responsible for ensuring that the site is left in a satisfactory condition, including
turning off all taps, lights and electrical appliances before locking up the premises. The Scout
Association’s advice regarding a
undertaken off this site.
It is expected that the facilities will be respected. The return of the deposit paid to offset any
damage will rely on the condition of the site at the end of each camp following an inspection
by the Site Manger or his team.
16. KEYS
Arrangements for the supply and return of keys to the site should be made with the Bookings
Secretary. This will ordinarily mean collection of them from his home at a time convenient to
all. Return of the keys must be accompanied by any balance of camp fees owing.
17. TIME OF ARRIVAL
The anticipated time of arrival must be forwarded to the Bookings secretary at least ONE
WEEK before hand to ensure that the keys are available and all other arrangements can be
made.

Barbeques are available for hire at an additional charge of £10.00 per weekend by prior arrangement with the bookings secretary and needs to be booked 1 week before the camp in order that it can be taken out of storage as keys to that area are not given out.
Please ensure any unused wood is placed back in the designated woodpile areas
All personal injuries that require treatment by a Doctor, Dentist, or at a hospital MUST be
reported to the Site Manager and to Scout Insurance Services, Lancing 01903 768524
NO DRUGS (Except medication) are allowed on site at any time. Alcohol may be consumed at
